GlobalABC revolutionizes access to technical knowledge to accelerate construction decarbonization

The international alliance activates a global platform that brings together roadmaps, regulations, operational guides, and case studies to unify and facilitate the work of building professionals.

The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) has officially launched its new Knowledge Platform, a digital portal designed to centralize, structure, and democratize access to strategic information on sustainable construction.

With this initiative, the organization seeks to resolve the marked fragmentation of technical knowledge and offer building stakeholders a meeting point to translate regulations and global climate commitments into applied solutions for the built environment.

A comprehensive repository to accelerate the sector’s transformation

The platform was born as a free-access resource that gathers technical documentation developed both by the GlobalABC network itself and by allied organizations and institutions internationally. The new digital catalog integrates regulatory frameworks, net-zero roadmaps, real case studies, methodological tools, and technical and professional training materials.

This digital infrastructure is designed to bridge the gap between regulatory theory and actual on-site execution. By providing the sector with precise guidelines on energy efficiency, material decarbonization, and circular economy strategies, the portal ensures architects, engineers, builders, and policymakers have the necessary technical rigor to make informed decisions at every stage of the construction project.

The GlobalABC platform unifies regulations, technical tools, and roadmaps to turn sustainability theory into applicable building solutions.

Collaborative network open to international contribution

True to the principle of joint construction, the Knowledge Platform has been designed as a living and participatory community. To guarantee the constant growth of the repository, GlobalABC has launched an international call for companies, research entities, universities, and independent industry experts to contribute their own reports, calculation tools, operational guides, and case studies.

Contributions can be submitted in any language, an approach aimed at building a database truly representative of the planet’s different climatic, regulatory, and economic realities. This multilingual and plural structure seeks to stimulate knowledge transfer between developed economies and emerging markets, promoting international cooperation to address key challenges in the built environment’s value chain.

GlobalABC invites entities and professionals worldwide to contribute documentation in any language to consolidate a diverse and updated database.

Open access to the global resource library

The portal is already fully operational through its online library (Resource Library), accessible from the official domain globalabc.org/knowledge-platform. The interface is structured to optimize searches using filters by topic, document type, and geographical scope, simplifying the localization of specific content for each area of expertise.

With the launch of this tool, GlobalABC consolidates its role as a coordinator in the ecological transition of the building sector. The entity trusts that democratizing technical knowledge will serve as an engine to accelerate the massive adoption of sustainability criteria, energy rehabilitation, and low environmental impact building in public and private agendas over the coming years.

The new digital library simplifies locating key technical resources to guide public policies and private investments in sustainable building.
